Does the charger work when it is raining?
Yes! We guarantee that the E1 charger is safe to use in any weather conditions
Does a higher power level charger charge faster?
Most of the time, yes. However, not every vehicle reaps its advantages. The capacity of AC charging is constrained by the onboard charger (OBC) in EVs. To illustrate, the majority of fully electric vehicles (EVs) face limitations with an 11 kW OBC, while most Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) are confined to a mere 3.7 kW OBC. So it will still depend on the model of your vehicle.
Will the E1 Charger work if my car has AC Type 1 Standard?
Yes! However, you will need a Type 1 to Type 2 charging cable to attach onto the E1 charger to make it compatible.
Can I leave my charger operating overnight?
Yes! Chargers and EVs are designed to stop charging once they have reached max battery capacity so you don’t have to worry about overcharging or damaging your vehicle’s battery when charging.
